How it all started…

Born and based in South Wales (UK), Nathan Roach is a freelance Photographer/videographer who specialises in Event/Documentary, founding Coal Poet Media in early 2017.

The title ‘Coal Poet’ is used in homage to Nathan’s grandfather, Graham Roach, a Welsh valley miner who inspired him greatly in Arts, Culture and was a constant source of encouragement to him through life.

Receiving his BA HONS ‘Photography in the Arts’ degree in 2013 and exhibiting in various exhibitions (including The Royal Photographic Society), Nathan has since had the pleasure of working with many different clients including Glastonbury Festival, The Labour Party and Live Nation.
