How it all started…

Born and based in South Wales (UK), Nathan Roach is a freelance live event/documantary Photographer/videographer, founding the media agency ‘Coal Poet Media’ in early 2017.

The title ‘Coal Poet’ is in homage to Nathan’s grandfather, Graham Roach, a Welsh valley miner who inspired and educated him in Art culture and was a constant source of encouragement to him.

Receiving his BA HONS ‘Photography in the Arts’ degree in 2013 and exhibiting in various exhibitions (including The Royal Photographic Society), Nathan has since had the pleasure of working with many different clients including Glastonbury Festival, The Labour Party and Live Nation.
